Youth and Teens

Objective - To give young people an opportunity to discover new interests through a variety of physical fitness, artistic expression and self-development programs.

Classes open avenues leading to increased independence and the development of talents and skills. Emphasis is placed on respect and concern for others, especially through the inter-generational program and association with the frail elderly living in the YWCA Personal Care Facility. Contemporary problems are addressed and coping skills developed. Classes range from baby sitting certification to a summer enrichment program.
